The 2nd edition of Future Leaders brought together Digital Communication students and professionals from major companies this past Thursday (21) at FGV’s Cultural Center.
Innovation, technology, and social impact stood out in the students’ projects, which proposed digital solutions spanning fact-checking platforms, crisis monitoring, communication agencies, and even financial-education apps. The proposals reveal a generation focused on data analysis, creative design, and social awareness to put forward relevant, transformative initiatives for the future.
“I’d say this event embodies the school’s very mission: to train the kind of professional the market is looking for today,” said Deputy Director Amaro Grassi.
Leaders were in attendance from organizations such as g1, Viva Rio, UOL, AtlasIntel, Prudential, the Rio de Janeiro City Hall, LiveMode/Cazé TV, Grupo Soma, L’Oréal, Abracom, among others.
“It’s great to see communications professionals from companies across so many sectors, because every company today needs—and is expanding—its communication area. That’s where companies’ interest in future professionals comes from: future leaders of communication in any sector,” Grassi added.
As a meaningful bridge between academia and the job market, Future Leaders continues to showcase students, encourage networking, and facilitate recruitment for companies seeking qualified, innovative professionals.
