FGV Comunicação has signed an academic cooperation agreement with Universidade Europeia - IADE, in Lisbon, enabling undergraduate and graduate student exchanges across various Communication and Marketing programs. Recognized as one of Portugal’s leading creative education institutions, IADE is a reference in visual arts, design, communication, marketing, and technology.
This partnership expands international opportunities for the academic community and reinforces the School’s commitment to providing a global education and building networks of knowledge.
In addition to student mobility, the agreement also includes faculty exchange. Professor Patricia Werner, PhD, from FGV’s School of Communication, played a key role in establishing the partnership. She was a visiting researcher at IADE during her doctoral studies.
“The cooperation with Universidade Europeia is part of FGV Comunicação’s internationalization strategy, which aims to strengthen ties with top-tier institutions and provide our students with transformative academic and cultural experiences”, says Patricia.
Later this month, FGV will welcome four exchange students — two from IADE and two from Universidade Nova, also based in Lisbon — to its Rio de Janeiro campus. In September, it will be the turn of an undergraduate student from FGV’s Communication program to spend a semester studying in Lisbon.
Recently, the university inaugurated its new Oriente Green campus — a modern, sustainable space designed to foster innovative teaching and learning experiences.
