Marieta Ferreira holds a PhD in History from UFF and completed postdoctoral studies at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales and the University of São Paulo (USP). She has coordinated the Professional Master’s Program in History Teaching and the Oral History Program at CPDOC, and has served as editor of the Revista Brasileira de História as well as president of both the Brazilian Oral History Association and the International Oral History Association. She is currently the coordinator of the FGV High School Program and Executive Director of FGV Press. A member of the editorial boards of several national and international journals, she has extensive experience in the field of History, with a focus on the Brazilian Republic.
