Adjunct Professor
Júlia Giannella is a designer, professor, researcher, and consultant specializing in information design, interaction design, and data visualization. She holds a degree in Design from UFRJ, a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences from PPGCOM-USP, and a PhD in Design and Technology from Esdi-Uerj. She has worked for major media outlets such as O Globo newspaper, Exame and Nova Escola magazines, and the Visgraf Lab at IMPA. Júlia is a board member of the Brazilian Society of Information Design (SBDI) and the founder of DatavizRio, a project dedicated to promoting and teaching data visualization.
