Josir Gomes holds a PhD in Information Science from the PPGCI/IBICT/UFRJ, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from IBMEC/RJ, and a Bachelor’s degree in Data Processing. He is currently Managing Partner at the RDX Institute of Education. He has extensive experience in the field of Information Systems, with a focus on databases, data mining, open-source software, and service-oriented architecture. His master’s thesis was awarded the RIOInfo Prize for Software Engineering Theses in the State of Rio de Janeiro in 2007.
