João Felipe Sauerbronn holds a PhD in Business Administration and a Master's in Public Administration from FGV-RJ and a bachelor's degree in Economics from UFRJ. He conducted postdoctoral research at the College of Media at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he was a visiting scholar at the International Institute of Communications Research. He has been successful in securing grant funding from Brazilian research agencies and is member of the Board of the Macromarketing Society, the Editorial Board of the Revista Interdisciplinar de Marketing (RIMAR), member of the Manuscript Review Advisory Board of the Journal of Macromarketing. His fairly eclectic research interests include marketing systems, marketing communications, consumer studies, and strategic marketing.
